AKA SCHOOLS participated in the “International Baccalaureate Conference” held in Izmir with 13 colleagues including the principals and the IB Coordinators. Within the scope of IB Day activities, Mrs Besime Erbilen; The Foreign Languages Coordinator and IBDP Coordinator made a presentation about a new method of education called “Content Language Integrated Learning” which has been used widely in Europe.
The most important purpose of these organised IB Day activities is to educate individuals in a well-rounded education, to train teachers whose principles are to learn, to encourage students to think and research and to provide the opportunity that teachers are perceived by the students as role models.
Our teachers acquired different information from the sessions that they had participated. They found the opportunity to meet and hold discussions with their colleagues and share their knowledge.
